Kitchen and Bath

Kitchen has some more of the "Becky's Garden (green) theme. It's about four times bigger than our last kitchen, which means you can actually have more than one person in it at the same time. (Four, actually, if you do the math.) Replaced everything in the bath except the sink and tub and washer. First solo plumbing job - new traps, faucets, etc. Built a custom cabinet to house my awesome plumbing job with the romanesque arched door. (A little overkill...) The floor was black and yellow tile (Go Hawks), but it had to go. Recognise the new floor? It's the same as Urbana... Sensing a thrift theme here? The baseboards for the bathroom were made from antique wooden siding from the house next door. (Yes, I had permission. We were cutting the neighbor's 2nd house in half.) The chair rails in the bath are more of the green color. It all came together beautifully. I am the greatest.

The previous 60s vinyl wall pattern and the 50s floor tile patterns were depressing to say the least. The pattern seen by the bath tub faucet covered all of the bathroom walls, as some of you saw last summer. BELOW are shots during the project. The whole house was done in less 8 months.
